Nadleśnictwo Biłgoraj swoim zasięgiem obejmuje niemal 17 tyś. ha powierzchni leśnej co stanowi 97% całkowitej powierzchni nadleśnictwa. Sprawuje ponadto nadzór nad ok. 4,2 tyś. ha lasów niestanowiących własności Skarbu Państwa.

W Nadleśnictwie Biłgoraj 01 grudnia 2023 r. rozpoczyna się akcja promocyjna pod nazwą "Choinka dla szkoły" skierowana do instytucji oświatowych, instytucji państwowych, instytucji kościelnych jak i organizacji zrzeszających młodzież.
Choinki zostaną przekazanie ww. podmiotom, które wyrażą chęć uczestnictwa w akcji, poprzez złożenie stosownego wniosku do Nadleśnictwa Biłgoraj, stanowiącego załącznik nr 1.
